Bangkok (October 07, 2025) – PentaPoint has announced its decision to utilize the Bravo BKK shopping mall in Bangkok for the development of EMD Bangkok-02, a next-generation AI-Ready Edge Data Center designed for high-density enterprise workloads and rapid urban deployment.
Strategically located in Rama 9, one of Bangkok’s fastest-growing business districts, Bravo BKK sits at the intersection of major road networks, retail centers, and commercial offices, offering direct access and excellent connectivity. The project represents one of Thailand’s first large-scale data center redevelopments within an existing retail complex, demonstrating how underutilized properties can be transformed into vital digital infrastructure.
With a total capacity of 6 MW, EMD Bangkok-02 will incorporate PentaPoint’s most advanced high-density rack systems, supporting up to 40kW per rack and optimized for AI workloads. The facility will be built to deliver low latency, high performance, and superior energy efficiency, ensuring readiness for AI-driven operations.
In a landmark partnership model, the Bravo BKK will participate as an equity investor, making this one of Thailand’s first data center projects developed through shared ownership between a property developer and a data center operator. This structure not only enhances asset value but also enables faster project delivery, reduced land acquisition costs, and urban sustainability by reusing existing infrastructure.
