This strategic move marks the beginning of our expansion plan to strengthen our competitive presence in Asia’s two most important markets: Thailand and Japan. The new Japanese headquarters will serve as the control tower for managing each regional division and executing projects for EMD data centers that will be rolled out in Japan, Thailand, and other key metropolitan cities in Asia.
Planned for a 2026 launch, EMD Tokyo-01, located in the highly sought-after business district in central Tokyo, will be an AI-Ready, Tier 3+ Edge Data Center. It will set a new benchmark for Japan’s next-generation digital infrastructure and further solidify PentaPoint’s position as a trusted edge data center developer in Asia. PentaPoint Data Center Development (Thailand) Co., Ltd., which is currently leading the development of EMD BKK-01 and EMD BKK-02 in Bangkok, will become a subsidiary under this structure.
